We are not blind. Nor are we stupid, despite the Shopper’s beliefs to the contrary. Most shops have windows in them, and nowadays, we all have phones coupled to the internet which allow us to access real-time updates regarding weather conditions. If there is anything we despise (admittedly, it is a remarkably long list or items), it is small talk about the weather, which is outside the shop, which is a place we cannot go for the duration of our shifts. So, please, stop reminding us about it.
