Don’t even get me started on the prices of airplane ownership…
Yeah, if you had no idea before, aviation is expensive. You know how expensive it is to get a driver’s license and own a car? Multiply that by like 50 and you have a better idea of the costs involved. It is astronomical, but I hear flying is an incredible experience well worth the cost. I cannot imagine how, but that is what I hear.

My bf in college went to pilot school and luckily his family was well enough off to afford all the necessary supplies. That made me more informed when my ex-husband had decided he too wanted to do pilot school (I must have a type), so we were not so shocked by the insane costs up front.

Haha I hear ya (my type is apparently teachers). At least y’all knew what you were getting into beforehand. I’ve been doing some work for the maintenance division of our parent company, and to say the least, I will NEVER own a plane. The costs of learning to fly are high enough. Then you buy a plane, and it just gets worse. No thank you.
